The Total Mani-Pedi Experience

Step 1. Wash & Soak

Wash and soak hands and feet in a lukewarm tub of water with cleansing agent to prepare you for a gentle mani-pedi experience. This allows for thorough cleansing and at the same time helps soften dead skin cells. Choosing a soak with a relaxing fresh scent sets the mood.

Exfoliate hands and feet by slowly rubbing the Hand & Foot scrub onto the area to remove the dry layer of skin revealing the new skin underneath. It is important to use a variant that has a combination of white wax beads and apricot seeds because this blend is gentle enough to use for both hands and feet. For hard to remove skin or calluses you may use a stone buffer or callous trimmer.

    Nail polish and the Pro-care products generally do not expire the same way that food or water-based products do. Instead, its quality deteriorates after 2 years.
  2. Can children use nail polish?
    There is no definitive clinical study that determines what age a person can start wearing nail polish but we recommend that ‘tweens (Chldren aged 9-12) use nail polish only on special occassions (i.e. school play). Teenagers can wear nail polish provided it is an acceptable practice at home and at school.

    Nail polish, Pro-Care products and the Nail Polish Remover are all flammable and it is indicated on the lable. This means that they are also sensitive to heat and should always be kep at room temperature: 24ºC (75.5ºF). When exposed to direct light, some nail polish may change color over time.

    Discoloration and drying of nails (causing it become brittle) can be brought about by many factors: excessive exposure to chemicals, health and genetics. Like teeth, not all nails are milky white.
